36C25722Q0079 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
• Are National Board Inspections included in this contract? No
• Is the 6-year NDT testing on the DA tank part of this contract? If so, which year of the contract? Not part of this contract.
• Are Emergency visits billable? Emergency and repair calls is found in section 2.1 of the SOW. “For emergency calls/service the contractor will furnish all Factory repair parts and service not to exceed $50,000 cumulative for both plants.”
• Section 1.2 states contractor is responsible for parts; is there a dollar amount threshold for what parts are the contractors responsibility? Emergency calls, repair calls and parts will come from the $50k in the contract.
• It states its $50k cumulative for both facilities. Is that per year, or total for 5 years or does it just get reset with new funds each time its reached? It is not to exceed
$50k per year cumulative for both plants. For bidding would we just add $50k per year and say that’s set aside for emergency service? Yes For parts for non-emergency support, is there any limit to what contractor would be responsible for. Parts and non-emergencies will also come out of the $50k. Could you please help us on general clarification as to how this is all intended in this contract? The
$50K per year cumulative for both plants is for emergency call outs, scheduled service work and parts.
