Statement of Work
Project Title: Brand Name Only or Equal to Aladdin Temp-Rite Tableware deliveries, disposable and non-disposable, in support of established patient meal system.
INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of this procurement documentation is to establish an Indefinite
Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Central Texas Veterans Health Care
System (CTVHCS) at Temple, and Doris Miller Department Veterans Affairs
Medical Center – Waco. It has been determined that a IDIQ is needed to ensure continued support of established patient meal operations.
BACKGROUND:
CTVHCS Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) has historically procured Aladdin-ware tableware using the Government purchase card, or 2237 payment document. Small micro-purchases add up, consuming large amounts of manpower for the purchasing agent, warehouse, and the leadership chain to approve the payments of micro-purchases. NFS looks to benefit both in financial efficiencies and reduction of manpower as well as in reducing manpower utilization because of the consolidated effort.
Project Location(s): Temple and Waco, Texas, main kitchens.
