"Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. The amendment posts clarifications through Questions and Answers (Attachment C) and provides an updated Statement of Work (Attachment D). Attachment C – Question and Answers

The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 received questions in response to Request for Quote 36C25626Q0322.

Please see below for the Contractor’s questions and NCO 16’s respective answers accordingly.

Question Number Question Answer

Q1 The durations say both 180 days and 90 days.

Need to clarify which duration is desired. The duration is 90 Days.

Q2

There is a mention of the laborers performing asbestos abatement if required. The workers are not going to be asbestos certified and furthermore we can’t provide asbestos abatement services under the same rates as building maintenance.

Please consider removing this requirement.

This is to clarify that there could possibly be asbestos in some flooring, as noted contractor can remove those type materials using proper precautions as long as it is less than 100 square feet. This does not require abatement certification.

Q3 Page 5, note 2, says that the contractor is to provide all materials. This is in conflict with the rest of the scope. Please clarify.

All flooring material, ceiling tiles and paint will be supplied to the contractor by the government.

Q4 Will we be responsible for providing all tools? This was mentioned in one area but it seems to be contradicted elsewhere.

Contractor is responsible for supplying all tools required to perform services.
