The specific requirement is for one new 14x17 detector (GE P/N 577147), with the current detector available for exchange, to be delivered to the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. The RFI is designed to help the VA determine the procurement strategy, with the NAICS code 339112 having a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
Interested vendors must submit responses by 4:00 PM CST on 1/21/2026 via email to bennett.smith2@va.gov, providing details such as company name, points of contact, email address, business size, SAM UEI number, and small business registration status. The RFI emphasizes that this is a sources sought notice only, not a formal solicitation, and potential offerors must be able to sell new GE OEM parts without violating warranties. The VA may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) based on the responses received, with small business concerns particularly encouraged to participate.
