About this file
This document is an Amendment (0001) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for off-site Teleradiology Services supporting the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System. The amendment includes a Questions and Answers (Q&A) section addressing five key inquiries from potential contractors, covering topics such as incumbent status, HL7 integration timelines, award date, credentialing requirements, and physician licensure.
Key details include a projected award date of 05-07-2025, confirmation that this is a new requirement with no incumbent contractor, and clarification that teleradiologists must complete NBIS background checks and VetPro credentialing. The VA also specified that any medical license from the 50 United States is acceptable for this contract, and HL7 integration is estimated to take approximately 2 weeks from the time an OIT ticket is entered. The solicitation covers teleradiology services across four VA sites (Biloxi MS, Mobile AL, Pensacola FL, Panama City Beach FL) and two DoD sites (Eglin AFB and Keesler AFB).

CONTINUATION PAGE
The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 received questions in response to Request for Quote
(RFQ) 36C25625Q0797.
Please see below Contractor’s questions and NCO 16’s respective answers accordingly.
Contractor Questions VA Responses
Q1 Is there an incumbent contractor? If so please provide the contract number.
No incumbent contractor. This is a new requirement.
Q2 What are the current approximate timings for HL7 integration with VISTA?
Estimated 2 weeks from OIT ticket entered until completion
Q3 When will the award be made approximately?
Projected award date 05-07-2025
Q4 Do the TELE radiologists have to go through NBIS (Background check) and VetPro credentialing?
Yes
Q5 Could you please confirm the licensure requirements for the physicians under this contract? The language reads “in any State where services are being performed,” and I want to clarify whether that means each radiologist must hold active licenses in Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama, or if a license in the physician’s home state is sufficient for teleradiology services.
Any license in the 50 United States is acceptable for this contract.
