About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Combined Solicitation for Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C25625Q0722, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16. The solicitation is for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) storage, delivery, pick-up, and related services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The procurement is a total small business set-aside with NAICS code 621610, targeting a five-year firm-term Indefinite Delivery Contract with a firm-fixed price.

The amendment specifically addresses a series of 14 vendor questions and answers regarding the solicitation, clarifying details about contract requirements, performance expectations, and technical qualifications. Key clarifications include confirming the contract is a new five-year project, specifying that services are within a 75-mile radius, explaining billing increments, and emphasizing that contractors must have The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation or equivalent. The response date is April 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central Time, with quotes to be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Jeneice Matthews. The government will use a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation methodology.
