About this file

This document summarizes changes made to a solicitation for ground ambulance and patient transportation services. The solicitation seeks emergency and non-emergency ground ambulance services including stretcher transports, basic life support, advanced life support, and critical care transport for the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System and associated clinics. Response and question deadlines were extended to February 5, 2024 and January 29, 2024, respectively. Revisions included adding locations, renaming and clarifying clinical item descriptions, and adjusting quantities. The four-year contract would begin on February 16, 2024 with one base year and three option years. Services are required 24/7 including weekends and holidays to transport patients between VA facilities in Central Arkansas. Pricing is fixed for annual ordering periods by clinical item. The estimated value is $100,000 to $7,000,000. The solicitation is seeking a single contractor to provide vehicles, staff, equipment, management, and reporting for ambulance services for the agency.
