Radformation Software Subscription

Houston, TX

PURPOSE:

1.1 The overall purpose is to provide specialized Radformation software subscription services. Radformation offers enhanced safety and quality processes, automation, and standardization of patient-specific organ contouring, robust second check programming, and streamlined documentation. The software, software updates and corrective maintenance is required and a necessary asset at the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care Line (DTCL) 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Tx. 77030.

SCOPE:

2.1 The Contract shall provide, install, and test all listed software. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in this section.

2.2 Updated software must meet manufacturers and VA specifications.

2.3 The contractor shall furnish all supplies and services required for installation of the software.

2.4 The Contractor is responsible for any missing part and components not included in order to carry out the installation.

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

Software Licenses

• AutoContouring

• ClearCalc

• EZFluence

• ClearCheck

Specifications/Salient Characteristics:

• AutoContour is software that enables users to efficiently contour and review structures for radiation therapy treatment planning. AutoContour sends a compressed raw binary CT file without any PHI (no DICOM or labels of any kind) to a cloud-based AI automatic segmentation engine that returns the supported structures. The user is then able to review, edit, and approve structures and export approved changes to a DICOM structure set file.

AutoContour is installed as a Standalone application for use directly with DICOM files.

• ClearCalc is an independent secondary dose calculation software that delivers accurate results and clinical time-savings. With support for photons, electrons, and brachytherapy, results are quickly calculated and displayed in a user-friendly interface. ClearCalc is installed as a Standalone application for use directly with DICOM plan files from multiple treatment planning systems.

• EZFluence is an automated treatment planner for 3D radiotherapy. It automates fluence or field-in-field treatment planning to increase efficiency in the clinic. EZFluence seamlessly integrates with Eclipse, saving the user time, as it alleviates the planner’s need to manually create field-in-field segments or optimal fluences for 3D treatment. Within 30 seconds, EZFluence generates multiple optimized fluences or field-in-field segments that are imported into the treatment plan for the user’s review. EZFluence standardizes breast planning across all treatment planners. Additionally, it preserves MLC blocking and is compatible with mixed energy plans.

• ClearCheck seamlessly integrates with Eclipse, saving the user time as no DICOM export/import is required for plan evaluation. ClearCheck evaluates dose constraints and plan checks in one click. Reports can be generated for documentation which are compliant with the ACR-ASTRO Practice Parameter for IMRT guidelines and the new Merit-Based Incentives Payment System quality measure for 3D dose constraints.
