About this file

This document contains questions and answers from potential vendors regarding a federal contract solicitation for inventory management software. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide all supplies, equipment, software, and training for an automated mobile inspection program to conduct quality assurance inspections of environmental management services at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical center. The software would need to run on tablets or phones provided by the contractor and collect inspection data in real time. It would require customizable inspection types and templates, with features for recording issues and generating automatic follow-ups and reports. The contractor would host the software requiring no new technical requirements onsite. The solicitation estimates a need for 11-15 user licenses. The limitation on subcontracting clause would remain, but subcontracting to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business would be considered. Either monthly or annual payments for software licensing would be acceptable.
