Contractor Question Government Response

Deliverable # 4

Clarification Question: What defines an “Incident” which will require a report from the contractor?

An incident is defined as any situation where the system is not operating properly, at full functionality, and/or as intended based on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines. A report, service log, and/or other documentation (as encompassed by this Deliverable) will need to be submitted by the contractor regarding these incidents if/when they occur.

Deliverable # 5

Clarification Question: Do the services required by the contractor include monitoring, notifications and/or any other duties/responsibilities in a “Security Services” capacity involving events which could be defined as a “Detection Incident” or are the services provided by the contractor limited to the maintenance and operation of the actual system?

No. Monitoring, notifications and/or any other duties/responsibilities in a “Security Services” capacity involving events which could be defined as a “Detection Incident” are NOT included.

Deliverable #5 pertains to maintenance and operation of the actual system which the contractor will be responsible for providing.

N/A Are pictures available of the areas where the systems will be in use?

No, pictures are not available and cannot be provided because personnel are continually entering and exiting the facility. Photos cannot include persons for security reasons. Per the Statement of Work, Section 3 Two (2) Double Wide weapons detection systems will be positioned at the two main entry points of the facility (i.e. the front and west entrance). The point of entrances cited are standard for a medical facility.
