DESCRIPTION

There is currently no EEG machine in Biloxi and an EEG machine in Pensacola that is > 10 years old. There is no ambulatory monitoring capability nor is there remote viewing/ interpretation capability at either facility. The facility has hired two Neurologists, one each for the Biloxi and Pensacola campuses, who will be ordering EEGs, bedside and ambulatory, at both clinics. All EEGs for Pensacola have been sent to the community for care and all EEGs for Biloxi for the last four years have been sent to the community for care. This purchase will replace the machine in Pensacola, add ambulatory monitoring in Pensacola, add bedside and ambulatory services in Biloxi, allow remote viewing and interpretation for physicians at and across all clinics, and recall patient care from the community.
