The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, TX is requesting capability statements from contractors that provide Dermatology services at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHCS), John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300, West 7th Street, Little Rock AR, 72205. The VA intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for this requirement on or about August 2023. The solicitation will be available for download from https://www.sam.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, no hard copies will be made available. The RFQ will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process.

In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective offeros must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and certified in the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert) as VetCert certification is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and VetCert information at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). To be eligible for a subsequent award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contracts can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM.

The government intends to use a best value comparative evaluation source selection method under Part 8 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and anticipates making a single award fixed price type contract for this requirement. Contract is expected to be a one (1) year contract.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111 (Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) with a Small Business Size Standard of $16M. The Product Service Code is Q504 Medical-Dermatology. The procurement approach will be based on market research results of this sources sought notice.

The attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) is a DRAFT EXAMPLE and not the actual final version of A PWS.
