| Performing wheelchair is very different from performing stretcher patients transport that requires 2 personnel for this service. Can you please breakout the wheelchair and stretcher transport pick up and mileage on a different CLIN? |
| The number of patients requiring wheelchair transport versus stretcher transport (or stretcher transport versus wheelchair transport) is not known or can be predicted by the government. In past contracts for these services wheelchair and stretcher transport was not differentiated or separated as two different line items/CLINS. For this requirement the number of trips is provided in the solicitation. Upon execution of the contract and during performance of each trip (within or outside of the mileage thresholds specified) it is required that the contractor be adequately equipped to transport patients in both stretchers and/or wheelchairs. Any trip executed during contract performance is expected to include a patient (or patients) in a wheelchair or stretcher. Therefore, the contractor must be able to provide ground transportation services for these patients. Contract Line Items (CLINS) contained within the Price/Cost Schedule of this solicitation will not be changed. |
