| Will the government pay any required manufacturing deposits for the items identified in the Schedule of Values? |
Manufacturing deposits incurred or expected by the contractor shall be included/incorporated as part of the contractor’s total offer/bid price. As contractors are required to prepare offer pricing in accordance with the Price/Cost Schedule manufacturing deposits should be included as part of the cost for line items within the Price/Cost Schedule. Per Section E.4, Clause 52.216-1 a firm, fixed price contract is contemplated for this requirement.
