About this file
This is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 in Leavenworth, Kansas. The amendment number is 0005, effective March 5, 2026, for solicitation 36C25526R0058 (Project Number 589A6-26-448). The amendment extends the deadline for receipt of proposals to March 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CDT. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the extended deadline by completing Items 8 and 15 and returning the required copies, by acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted, or by separate letter or electronic communication that references the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in rejection of the offer.
The amendment promulgates three changes to the original solicitation: (1) addition of RFI clarifications provided by the engineering staff referenced in the Amendment P0005 attachment; (2) confirmation that proposals are due March 26 by 2:00 p.m. CST; and (3) confirmation that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The attachment specifies four technical clarifications regarding lightning protection system design and installation, including that the system must receive a UL numbered master label, a ground loop and/or counterpoise is not required, a new surge protection system is not included in scope, and downleads can be located on the exterior of the building.
