Questions & Answers

1. The Statement of Requirements identifies:

77.1876.00 – Unit MT Module, 300PRO on 511B and CLIN 0006 requests:

1 EA – Brand Name or Equal to Unit MT Module 300PRO on 511B.

Our supplier has advised that item 77.1876.00 appears to be the mounting module/system for a 300PRO unit rather than the complete 300PRO unit itself.

Could you please confirm whether the VA requires:

• Only the Unit MT Module, 300PRO on 511B (Item 77.1876.00) as stated in CLIN 0006;

or

• The complete 300PRO unit/system in addition to the mounting module?

Answer: CLIN 0006 removes the product and CLIN 0002 has increased from a quantity of 8 each to a quantity of 9 each. Additionally, CLIN 0007 has been changed to CLIN 0006 1

Job – Installation. (see revised COST/PRICE SCHEDULE on next page)

2. I do not see any requirements for dental operatory lights, either chair-mounted or track-mounted. Can you confirm whether lights are required as part of this procurement, and if so, which configuration is needed?

Answer: There are overhead track-mounted lights installed and will NOT be replaced.

3. In addition, I do not see an assistant instrumentation/package identified with the dental delivery systems. Is the assistant instrumentation intended to be incorporated into the cabinetry, such as a 12 o’clock rear cabinet configuration, or is a separate chair-mounted/rear-mounted assistant package required?

Answer: No assistant instrumentation/package.
