About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C25526Q0400, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 in Leavenworth, Kansas on May 13, 2026. The amendment addresses a procurement for an 8-foot motorized parallel bars (brand name or equal) for the Kansas City VAMC.
The amendment makes six substantive changes to the original solicitation: (1) provides facility responses to vendor questions regarding delivery, accessibility, and installation requirements; (2) updates the equipment model number from TG1001.EC to TWG1001.BA; (3) incorporates FAR Clause 52.222-90 regarding Addressing DEI Discrimination by Federal Contractors (April 2026); (4) clarifies that no additional extensions are necessary; (5) establishes a new quote submission deadline of May 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM CST to Kelly Malec at Kelly.Malec@va.gov with instructions to note replacements for previously submitted emails; and (6) confirms that no other changes are made to the solicitation and all other terms and conditions remain in effect. The facility responses confirm tractor/trailer accessibility, presence of a loading dock with a lift to ground level, ground floor entrance, main floor placement, multiple entrances with accommodating automatic garage doors, hallway access within a few hundred feet, basement location on the same level as the loading dock, and no delivery challenges anticipated.
