Deliverables #8. When is the 25% expansion expected to be completed?

Deliverables #8, “Switches and POE extenders must be of sufficient size to accommodate expansion of system by at least 25%.” The intent of this statement revolves around the evolving needs of the hospital. We MAY need expansion of services in different areas. To prevent any kind of hardware issues and complete loss of service (due to equipment changeover) we require the switches and poe extenders have the ability for expansion.

With this being mostly Cisco equipment, do you have any hardware warranty coverage, and are there hard/software licenses to be renewed under new contract?

No, all the hardware belongs to the current provider.

Video services currently operating from or terminated in a designated OI&T space or other space that cannot be shared or accessed by the awarded vendor? If so which locations? Will the low voltage wiring in these locations (fiber distribution, ethernet station drops, and coax) be extended/rerun/relocated to new closets by The

Government/VA? Is there is expectation that new wiring will be installed by the awarded vendor? If, yes does this apply to all locations and wiring types or as needed to deliver service? No

Approximately how many potential users are typically present during peak times in the area covered by Guest Wireless? 500

How many patient/guest beds are in the WIFI service area? If this is not known how many patient beds exist on site currently? How many Staff/employees work for the hospital on-site? 95 Beds in range of wifi services.
