About this file
This document is a Presolicitation Notice for a federal contract opportunity. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide, install, monitor, maintain, and repair/replace, if necessary, a critical water system capable of producing water that meets AAMI ST108 standards for critical and utility water used in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) department at the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS) facilities in Topeka and Leavenworth, Kansas.
The contractor will be required to provide monthly written reports showing continued compliance with AAMI ST108 standards to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) at each campus. The incoming water at the two sites is extremely different, so the system may require different filter change frequencies, potentially including the installation of a sand-type filter at the Topeka site. The contract is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBC), and the solicitation number is 36C25525Q0049 with a response due date of November 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM Central Time.
