About this file
This document is a modification to solicitation 36C25524Q0640 for Alpha-1 Anti-Trypsin Testing services for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 15. The modification provides answers to questions from offerors and extends the submission deadline to October 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM CST. Key details include:
The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price base contract plus four option years. The estimated quantity is 972 test kits per year, with the contract value referencing the SBA size standard of $41.5 million, not the total contract value. The contract is for the Kansas City VA Medical Center and related CBOCs. Offerors must have at least three years of laboratory testing experience, with one year specifically in transporting biomedical materials. Past performance and product recall information is required. The modification also clarifies that Juneteenth will be listed as a federal holiday, and that facilities can be added or removed with government approval.
