Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research, to make appropriate acquisition decisions, and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses capable of providing the following:

Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications to be considered for award. In addition, FAR 4.11 states that prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) database. All Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) shall be verified in Vet Cert at veterans.certify.sba.gov.

STATEMENT OF WORK FOR YOGA
Description of Services:
I. Work to be performed:
The Contractor shall provide 2 yoga classes for Veterans at the Kansas City Vet Center, 4800 Main Street Suite 107, Kansas City, Missouri 64112.
Classes shall be at least 1 hour in length over a year-long period, for a total of 104 classes. Day and time will be on Fridays from 11:45AM until 1:45PM.
The Contractor shall provide Yoga instruction for the base year, with 4 option years, totaling 5 years.
Compliance with the conditions of this contract will be expected and required for all years.
II. Special Instructions:
The Contractor shall provide chair and mat style of yoga practice and will provide one on one instruction as needed to ensure that yoga poses, or asana are in the proper form.
The Contractor shall provide blocks, straps, and mats necessary for proper instruction. The Contractor will also be responsible for cleaning and upkeep of equipment.
The Contractor shall provide make up classes for any classes missed due to illness, weather, or holidays.
Instructor should be:
· Certified as a Yoga Therapist through (IAYT) International Yoga Therapists Association
· Certified with over 500 hours of Teacher training (E-RYT500)
· CPR and BLS Certified
· Specialized Training for clients with disabilities including PTSD Certified
· Highly encouraged that contractor has previous experience working with Veterans.
· Certified as an instructor and in yoga practice.
For all certifications, copies of certificates and/or documentation must be provided.
III. National Holidays are:

Juneteenth;
Independence Day;
Labor Day;
Columbus Day;
Veterans Day;
Thanksgiving;
Christmas;
Any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday.
