Redesign and Resurface Main Campus Parking, P/N 657A5-18-103 66048 36C25521R0061 N 236220 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 3450 S 4th Street Trafficway Leavenworth KS 66048 Maria Hoover Contracting Officer maria.hoover@va.gov Contracting Officer

P/N 657A5-18-103, Redesign and Resurface Main Campus parking, located at the Marion VA Medical Center, Marion, Illinois.

Project Specifics: Contractor will provide construction need for the redesign and resurfacing of the main campus parking.

This project will remove multiple safety issues within the parking lot and also remove the rock filled islands. The parking lot accessible route that transitions into main traffic routes are unsafe. The realignment will allow patients to safety traverse the parking lot in the main facility.

The main parking lot currently serves 3 buildings: the main hospital, AM Vets and Building 8. The AM Vets and Building 8 are currently located across our main through street from the parking lot which places pedestrians at great risk. The routes to all buildings are not a fully accessible and also eliminate the need to cross live traffic in order to gain access to the buildings. Additional handicap stalls will be installed in order to meet compliance. Signage will be improved to help veterans better navigate and to clearly indicate traffic regulations.

Magnitude of the project: Between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
