DESCRIPTION

Rental of Portable MRI Scanner, Support, Agreement, Installation for the Marion VAMC

General

The Contractor shall provide one (1) each mobile shielded GE Explorer 1.5T MRI scanner housed in a mobile coach, or GE 23X HDxT 1.5T MRI scanner, during the MRI construction, and upgrade at Marion, IL VAMC. The date of rental will be from September 13, 2021 through December 12, 2021 with an option to extend for a couple of weeks. The scanner will include supporting equipment to provide the doctors and radiologists a like system which will provide the same level of care our patients are presently receiving. Services shall be provided for the Department of Veterans Affairs Marion, IL Health Care System. All services shall be provided in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein, including the VA’s hours of operation and all Federal Holidays.

The following paragraphs contain the items are required and support agreement to provide the same level of care with up to 16 hours of onsite training of the current radiology technologists and continued phone support for applications for the duration of the contract. The mobile unit will be delivered to 2401 W Main St., Marion, IL 62959.
