PROJECT NARRATIVE
FINAL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT DOCUMENTS – AN OVERVIEW
The design development process for the Renovate Basement Lounge and Locker Rooms Project 589A4-18-010. M+HFG facilitated general meetings with various stakeholders at the VA and took the information obtained to develop construction documents for remodeling a portion of an existing Lounge and Locker room area.
Through on-site meetings and off-site analysis, the project team was able to identify the project parameters, determine priorities, collect relevant information, develop a opinion of probable cost, and develop a set of construction documents.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our understanding of the project scope is that the hospital has identified a need to better serve staff by maximizing the available space to create a new, user friendly lounge and locker room area for VA staff to utilize as a changing and lounge area. The work is as outlined in the proposal package Supplement B and includes evaluating and upgrading the existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to modern standards.
