About this file
This document outlines invoicing procedures for a federal contract to provide nursing home services across multiple Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in the Midwestern United States. Invoices for per diem rates and medications for patients placed at nursing homes under the contract terms must be submitted to the respective VA Medical Center paying offices by the 10th of each month for services provided the previous month. Invoices are required to include summary sheets listing all patients serviced along with their total invoiced amounts. Invoices must be faxed to the specified phone numbers depending on the servicing VA Medical Center location. For Poplar Bluff patient medication invoices, electronic submission through the Tungsten Network portal is mandated, with questions regarding submissions or payments to be directed to the contacts provided.
The related federal contract opportunity notice seeks responses from potentially interested nursing home facilities to provide their identifying information and capabilities to the Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 for a planned two-year open continuous solicitation for nursing home services across its seven constituent VA Health Care Systems located in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and surrounding states. Information requested includes facility details, capacities, socio-economic status, Medicaid reimbursement rates, survey results and care specializations. The notice provides background on the requirement and contact information for the Network Contracting Office issuing the forthcoming solicitation.
