A.1 STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Requesting local radio stations to provide 13-weeks of radio advertising campaign about the VA and Whole Health geared towards our area Veterans and caregivers/community supporters who are unaware of services here at the St. Louis VA Healthcare System. We are also looking to re-energize our current Veteran population signed up for Whole Health and VA services. We are also watchful for those who are leaving military service and settling in St. Louis VA Healthcare system’s area of responsibility (AOR).

Whole Health is at many outreach events talking about the VA and Whole Health, but we continue to face the challenge of reaching a Veteran population which is spread throughout a large geographic area.

iHeart Media is an entertainment group with radio stations in their portfolio that have been identified as having the demographics we need to ensure we have covered both urban and rural Veteran groups. This advertising would appear during critical “drive time” when audience levels are at their highest. Urban stations have an influencer who is an Army Veteran and country station has an influencer who has multiple Veteran family members.

During initial market area research was able to meet with these influencers and are assured they are extremely supportive of the VA and the tenets of Whole Health. iHeart radio’s coverage is spread liberally across our entire AOR, which makes them the perfect platform to assist in our outreach efforts. Metrics will be gathered to determine success of 13-week campaign and if we need to shift our focus in any aspect. We are looking to start this radio advertising effort as soon as possible.
