About this file
This document contains a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for cardiac monitoring services and a related federal contract opportunity notice. The QASP outlines performance standards and monitoring methods for a contractor to provide cardiac monitoring services for veterans at the Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Key responsibilities for the contractor include making contact with patients within 24 hours of an order, posting patient data and reports within 24 hours of receipt, responding to emergency events within one hour, and meeting technical and patient satisfaction standards. The government will evaluate the contractor using methods like direct observation, inspections, complaints, and random sampling to determine if performance meets standards. The related federal contract opportunity notice indicates the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to release a solicitation on January 27, 2020 to provide wireless cardiac event and holter monitoring services at the same facility, with a response due date of February 7, 2020.
