Q1. Is this contract for maintenance only covering Maintenance labor and parts/materials necessary to complete inspections per OEM? Anything found during inspections will be quoted separately.
A1. Correct.
Q2. Do we need to cover 100% all maintenance, maintenance parts, Repair labor (Straight & Overtime), repair parts?
A2. Yes, to covering all Maintenance, Maintenance parts. Repair labor and repair parts should be contract pricing.
Q3. When is last time they did eddy currents?
A3. 7 years ago.
Q4. Do they want us to do eddy currents in first year to get base line? If it’s every 5 what year do they want it done since contract is not guaranteed for 5years.
A4. It needs to be performed during the base year. We need to re-establish the eddy Current pattern, it was dropped from the last contract.
Q5. Why are we brushing evap tubes yearly since the evap is a closed circuit?
A5. This facility is always under construction and the CW side is always open. The brushing of evaporators insures we are keeping that side of the system optimal.
Q6. Do we need to perform vibration every year or every 5? If it’s every 5 what year do they want it done since contract is not guaranteed for 5 years.
A6. The facility performs the vibration test once every 5 years and needs to be performed during the first year. We also perform an annual oil analysis to track system components.
