The solicitation number is 36C25226Q0333, with the contracting office located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (ZIP 53214-1476). The original response deadline has been extended from May 5, 2026 at 10:00 am CST to May 22, 2026 at 7:00 am CST. The point of contact is Vernise L. Newton at vernise.newton@va.gov. The amendment clarifies several specification details regarding the crash cart configuration, including confirmation that line item 0006 specifies a 21" Gate Lock (item # WTLGB21), that 64 panels are required, and that line item 0009 (a duplicate IV Pole & Bracket entry) is not needed. Additionally, the amendment requests confirmation of the drawer configuration for the pediatric crash cart, which features nine drawers (WATERLOO ALUMINUM CART PEDIATRIC model PR WTLUXGZA9PEDS) in gray shell, extra-tall height with drawer sizes 3, 3.3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, and 6, at a quoted unit price of $1,757.62. DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the end date from 5/05/2026 @10:00 am CST to 5/22/2026 @7:00 am CST . Also, to add the Questions and responses below.

1. The deadline of this solicitation has hereby changed form to

2. Questions and answers are below

· Line item 0006 indicates a "12" Gate Lock..." and the item # is "WTLGB21". This item # is for a 21" Gate Lock and makes sense based on line item 0005 being 6" and line item 0004 being 27".

· Confirming line item 0006 should be 21".aad Confirming the correct amount of panels is 64.

· If Item 0008 secures the IV pole in place, then item 0009 is not needed.

Items 0008 and 0009 both show the same item # (MPH01WIV2). The item # is the one for IV Pole & Bracket. I believe 0009 is not needed and likely the reason for the quantity variance for item 0013 (64 v 32). Please confirm line item 0009 is not needed.

The locks are part of pre-assembly (item 0014). The manufacturer is asking about the center lock...see message below. Would you prefer option A or B? (B is more common)

1. We have gate locks spec'd for each cart which have the breakaway seals. ✅

1. But I am interested in the central lock. This is the lock in the top center of the cart. We have two options here:

0. We can go with "no lock" and plug the lock hole (see attached picture)

0. Or we can place a Lever Lock on the cart. (this is more common on crash carts) With the flick of a wrist it can lock or unlock all of the drawers. It also helps keep the drawers secure during transport. And it also has the breakaway seal. (please see the attached picture of the Lever Lock)

The purpose of the separate locks and brackets, the keys have been misplaced or lost. Please see attachment regarding the specifications requested for securing the drawers.

1. Please confirm the Drawer configuration for the Ped’s Cart.
