About this file

This is a Special Notice amendment to a federal contract solicitation issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 12. The amendment modifies Line Item 0001, changing the required equipment from a Leica DM2700 P microscope to a Leica Visoria P microscope, both specifically configured for asbestos analysis via transmitted light (TL) microscopy. The solicitation incorporates FAR Clause 52.222-90 as a contractual requirement.

The solicitation deadline has been extended from April 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM Central Standard Time to May 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM Central Standard Time, providing vendors with an additional two weeks to prepare their quotes or proposals. This is solicitation number 36C25226Q0295_10, classified as a Special Notice opportunity type. Interested contractors should note the equipment specification change and ensure their submissions comply with the updated requirements and the newly incorporated federal clause prior to the extended submission deadline.
