· Smooth, continuous movement across the entire track system.

· Each patient room must have one ceiling lift unit. The unit should be able to service the entire space. The ceiling lift unit will need to operate in an H-track system with additional track to service shower, sink, and toilet use.

This configuration provides the most flexible area coverage, allowing the patient to move throughout the space, reposition, lift legs, wash hands, and use the toilet.

· Requesting a stationary lock per lift unit and or stationary lock per rail as a preferred option. For the following reasons:

1. Patients undergo therapy in their rooms.

2. Patients are long term residents.

3. Locks add an element of safety for patients and staff.

Lift unit:

· The Lift Unit shall be constructed of a steel frame system driven by a gear-reduced, high-torque, motor.

· Safety device that stops the motor from lifting when batteries are low.

· Lifting capacity (minimum): 550 lbs. (249.476 kg) for non-bariatric lifts and 750-1000 lbs. (340.194- 498.952 kg) for bariatric lifts.
