About this file

This document is an Amendment to Solicitation 36C25225Q0363 for Integrated Pest Management Services at the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The amendment includes a series of vendor questions and answers regarding the pest control service requirements, detailing specific aspects of the solicitation such as past pest control activities, wildlife trapping history, and pest management expectations.

Key details include the VA's responses to questions about previous pest control incidents, which reveal 2 raccoon, 3 opossum, and 2 bat trappings in the last 7 months, nuisance complaints involving geese, cranes, and turkeys, and no reported wood-destroying organism service requests. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and requires vendors to comply with VA directives and regulations. The amendment clarifies that pests like algae and lice are included in the scope, with specific treatment considerations, and emphasizes the importance of past pest control experience for the prime contractor.
