This special notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs announces a sole source contract for security system monitoring and maintenance services. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a contract with the incumbent contractor, Johnson Controls Inc., as they are the only authorized vendor to provide these services for their existing equipment. The requirement is for sustainment of the current monitoring services. The contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options and utilize firm-fixed pricing. The NAICS code is 561621 with a $25 million size standard. Interested parties must notify the contracting specialist by October 27, 2023 and provide evidence of their authorization from Johnson Controls to meet these requirements. The government will evaluate any responses but retaining the sole source procurement is at the discretion of the agency.
