*Additional Info for KOBELCO Compressors The correct lubricating oil is a good quality turbine oil containing rust and oxidation inhibitors and corresponding to ISO VG 68. DO NOT mix different brands or grades of oils. The compressor was initially filled with 76 Products Company turbine oil ISO VG 68 having a viscosity of 315 SSU @ 100 F. If necessary to add oil, and this brand is not available, drain completely and refill with a suitable replacement. The oil pressure is controlled by relief valve located on the side of the gear case. The correct operating pressure is 30 PSIG (minimum 25 PSIG, maximum 35 PSIG). The adjustment should be made while the unit is at normal operating temperature. Rotating the adjustment screw clockwise raises the operating pressure and counterclockwise lowers the pressure.
