* = Required Field Contract Opportunity Special Notice Q702 QA Inspector Services Software Licenses/Training 53214-1476 36C25221Q0451 N 511210 Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) 115 S 84th Street, Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Walsh Integrated for QA Inspector Software Licenses, database formatting and training for the EVS Quality Assurance Cleaning Inspection System. Walsh Integrated is the sole source provider and creator of the Walsh QA Inspector proprietary software. This notice of intent if not a request for competitive quotes.
This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-year base plus four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210 with a business size standard of $41.5 Million.
No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 9:00 AM Local Time (Central) February 26, 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. This evidence shall include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating vendor is an authorized distributor per clause 852.212-72(c). Information must be sent to the Contracting Specialist, Michele Trudell, michele.trudell@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
