About this file
This document is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract extension for mobile MRI services at the Iron Mountain VA Medical Center. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center, on behalf of the Iron Mountain VAMC, intends to extend the contract with the incumbent provider, Advance Imaging Management, LLC (AIM), from October 1, 2024 through November 30, 2024. AIM is the only known provider capable of meeting the agency's requirements within the needed timeframe, as they have qualified MRI technologists already credentialed at the facility. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) - Only one responsible source. The NAICS code is 621512. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but any other firms believing they can provide these services must submit the specified information, including resumes, licenses, company background, and pricing, to the Contracting Officer by September 25, 2024. The government will review any responses received but reserves the right to proceed with the sole source extension if no viable alternatives are identified.
