THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.

The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned

Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide an Ablation System, NEUWAVE CERTUS brand name only, for the

Clement J. Zablocki VAMC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

General Requirements:

BRAND NAME ONLY (NEUWAVE CERTUS):

The NEUWAVE CERTUS 140-2.4GHz Ablation System has several unique features that are not present in another system. The NEUWAVE CERTUS 140 can power up to three probes simultaneously using a single system and is the only system on the market with that capability.

The ability to activate multiple probes simultaneously can reduce overall procedure time, increasing efficacy and allowing higher patient treatment volume. There is a CO2 cooled “Tissu-

Loc” locking mechanism to lock/stick the probes into the tissue/tumor during procedures, which reduces probe migration and is a patient safety feature. The system is the only system on the market with integrated ablation confirmation software. This software can identify ablation targets, assessing the tissue/tumor for probe placement, and confirming the technical success of the ablation procedure. The software can also capture image and video of procedures. The system is capable of distal energy control of the probes, allowing control of the ablation distance beyond the probe tip. This is an important feature for ablation in difficult tissue areas.
