X X X 2:00pm local time October 16, 2019 The purpose of this amendment is to address vendor questions and update sections of the PWS.

The proposal due date has been extended to 2:00pm local time on October 16, 2019.

Maureen Falaschi Q&A

1. Section 4.6.1.7.1, it states: "For a transport request for a critical patient (as deemed by the physician) with pick up at Hines VAH, the contractor will be allotted up to a thirty (30) minute response time.".

· Can you please clarify this clause as it conflicts with the 60 min standard and is subjective based on a physician determination?

· Is this only for CCT patients?

· Does the allowable 30 min window apply to this 30-minute response time as well?

· How will this be regulated so there is not a spike in emergent calls because nurses or doctors didn’t want to wait?

The transport requests for critical patients (as deemed by the physician) are for patients that are stable but require a transfer for definitive care (typically stroke or heart attack patients).

These transports are urgent and may be BLS, ALS, or CCT as applicable.

Orders will be placed appropriately by the physician. The contractor should expect 4-5 orders/month of this nature.

**Please see updated Section 4.6.1.7 of the PWS**

2. What will the start date be for this contract? Will there be a 30 day ramp-up from time of award?

The Government anticipates a start date of 11/15/2019.

3. Employee TB test results. Is it ok to submit a copy of the TB test results for our employees with this RFQ or could that be a HIPAA violation?

Section 4.4.2.2 of the PWS has been updated to state the following:

The contractor shall have its personnel tested for TB annually and provide written confirmation to the COR that all personnel performing services under this contract are current in their TB test.

Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (Paragraph 4 Technical Proposal on Page 53 of the solicitation) has been updated to state “Provide the Tuberculosis Exposure Control Policy in accordance with Section 4.4.2 of the PWS. Offeror must provide written confirmation that all personnel performing services under this contract are current in their TB test.

CHANGES TO THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)

The following changes have been made to the PWS:
