VISN 12 STERRAD GLOBE SERVICE CONTRACT

53214-1476 36C25219Q0960 N 811219 Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) 115 S 84th Street, Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 Joni Dorr Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Advanced Sterilization Products, DBA Ethicon US, LLC for Sterrad Plasma Sterilization System Maintenance for the equipments Sterrad NX, Sterrad 100NX, Sterrad 100S. Advanced Sterilization Products is the only vendor authorized to complete maintenance on these machines. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The Advanced Sterilization Products system maintenance is already in use. This request is for sustainment of an existing service. It would be for Sterrad Plasma Sterilization System Maintenance (Sterrad NX, Sterrad 100NX, Sterrad 100S).

This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one year base plus two one year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $22 million.

No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM (Central) September 30, 2019. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Joni Dorr, joni.dorr@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
