53214-1476 36C25219Q0519 N 811219 Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) 115 S 84th Street, Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 Kristine.Sutton@va.gov Under FAR regulation 13.104 the Government anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Aethon Inc. for providing TUG Robots preventative maintenance and software updates on current equipment at the Milwaukee, Hines and Jesse Brown VA Medical Centers. The above authority is cited, and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 13.106-1(b). Other vendors may identify their interest by sending a capability statement that they have access to the proprietary software updates and an authorized reseller by responding to this requirement by email by April 23th 0800 Central Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before April 23th 0800 Central Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
