53214-1476 36C25219Q0229 N 811219 Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) 115 S 84th Street, Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 Kristine Sutton Kristine.Sutton@va.gov Under Statutory Authority U.S.C. 253(c)(1) the Government anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Canon for a full-service maintenance contract for the current Vantage Titan MRI already in use at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center located in North Chicago, Illinois. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by January 7, 2019, 0800 Central Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before January 7, 2019, 0800 Central Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
