About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analyzers, reagents, and supplies to support SARS-CoV-2 and influenza testing at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks to lease three rapid PCR analyzers capable of processing results in under 25 minutes for SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B, and RSV testing of symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. The selected vendor must provide FDA-cleared assays demonstrating at least 96% positive and negative agreement for SARS-CoV-2 testing of symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals, with a limit of detection of no more than 25 copies/ml. The base period of performance is March 1, 2024 to February 29, 2025, with two one-year option periods extending to February 28, 2027. The vendor will be responsible for installation, integration with the LABLION LIS, preventative maintenance, repair services, and supplying all necessary reagents, quality controls, and other consumables.
