· QUESTION: How many vignettes are you looking for? Do you need multiple for each segment or the overall VA series?

· RESPONSE: Once a month is the requested requirement (12 total), and the segments would be only for the Cincinnati VA

· QUESTION: What format do you need the final video in?

· RESPONSE: Mp4 for the Public Affairs Office and accepted format for delivering to local news stations

· QUESTION: Will the production company have input on determining the best filming location(s) or have you already decided what those will be?

· RESPONSE: The Public Affairs Office will be doing the bulk of this work.

· QUESTION: Is there a limit on how many segments and topics can we schedule to film on each production day? Could we for example film multiple segments in the same day on different topics?

· RESPONSE: The Public Affairs Office is good with scheduling one eight hour day to do the segments prior to each month delivery and obtaining additional footage of it is need for future production. The additional footage all depend on availability of staff and talent needed for the segments.

· QUESTION: Will you require b-roll to be included into the segments?

a. For example (1): We do a segment on Mental Health - should we also plan to schedule time to shoot b-roll of say the veteran going to an appointment, having a zoom meeting with their doctor, meditating or practicing a calming exercise?

b. For example (2): Topic on the importance of staying fit or working out: have b-roll of veteran going on a run, making a healthy morning shake, lifting weights?

c. Both of these examples show how including b-roll will help to tell the story but will also add to the overall production time and value

· RESPONSE: Yes to all questions listed a-c

· QUESTION: Should we add in graphics such as lower thirds, or graphic packages that will help tell the stories?

a. For example (1): Lower thirds for the Healthcare professional / veteran

b. For example (2): Graphic package that helps visually show internal organs, so if the segment is on heart health we have a 3D visual of the heart and vascular system

· RESPONSE: Yes a-b

· QUESTION: Should we provide separate news packages for the station? Typically external production companies that provide segments to air on news will build packages so the news outlet can choose how they want to air the content or what they will do internally to include in the segment.

1. For example: We would provide the full segment including our graphics for lower thirds and animations, voice over, music, etc. and the station will run the story as is. We can also put it together without some of those elements so the station can add it with their own colors and branding. So essentially-we would provide the “story” but not include the graphics, music bed, voice narration, etc. This way the station producer can decide what they want to include in the story and broadcast segment.

· RESPONSE: The sole use of the production assets is to have them delivered to local news and placed within local news programming.
