Question received and needing answered ASAP:

1. Is the VA aware of any building/site locations with asbestos or other potentially hazardous environmental conditions still in place? If so, could the VA please provide a list of these sites and the types of conditions present in each? No

2. The address for the Grove City VA Clinic is listed in the RFQ as: 5775 N. Meadows Drive; Grove

City, OH 43123. The address shown for this clinic on the VA’s Columbus OH website is listed as:

Grove City VA clinic? 5775 N. Meadows Drive; Grove City, OH 43123.

3. The text in Section D.1, Statement of Work, Background, states, “There is currently no WIFI at the locations concerned with this requirement.” However, during the site visit on June 10th, this vendor identified several wireless access points throughout the main clinic facility. Could the VA please clarify the above statement as to the existence and location of any current Wi-Fi equipment at each of the specified locations? Must be standalone WiFi, The VA Network is to remain “Air Gap” from other networks. The facilities currently have 108 AP’s supporting internal network. Channels and power output must not interfere with internal VA WiFi Network.

4. The text in Section D.1, Statement of Work, Specific Tasks, states, “The contractor is required to be on-site within two (2) hours of an emergency call being placed regarding Wi-Fi availability issues.” As there is no SLA defined in the RFP, could the VA please clarify what exactly constitutes an “emergency”? An Emergency may constitute complete outage of Guest WiFi system or Interference of VA Operations caused by Guest Wifi System.

5. The text in Section D.1, Statement of Work, Specific Tasks, states, “Provide 24/7 streaming of

Wi-Fi services.” If the VA facility in question does not have patient beds, and only operates during normal business hours, is 24/7 Wi-Fi service required? Yes

6. The text in Section D.1, Statement of Work, Specific Tasks, states, “Minimum required speed 100

Mbps (Megabits per second)”. Is this defined as total circuit speed, or speed to the client device? 100 Mbps would be the Routed circuit Speed to the ISP. It is unclear from this question that this constitutes Transmit and Receive (Upload/Download).

7. During the site visit on June 10th, this vendor was told that coverage was required in all areas to include restrooms. Could the VA please confirm this requirement and expand upon coverage requirement areas for all facilities under this RFQ? Coverage entire facility except ORs and UCC.

8. Could the VA provide estimates for the number of devices in each of the required coverage areas, per location? This data would be required for proper capacity planning. 1000 for Main

Facility and 75 for all CBOCs.

9. During the site visit on June 10th, we were advised that we could request RF heat maps from the existing Cisco wireless deployment. We would like to exercise that option and request RF heat maps from the VA. OIT is not willing to provide heatmaps, vendor may be required to do their own.

10. Could the VA please clarify when installation activities can occur, i.e., during business hours or after? After hours.

12. The floor plans for the CPW Ambulatory Care Center (First Floor and Second Floor) list spaces under construction. Will those areas be included in this initial RFQ, or will the VA add them on at a later date?
