McGowan harvey.mcgowan@va.gov The deadline for responding to this solicitation has been extended to September 10, 2019.

The below question has been asked and the answers are highlighted in red.

1. Is the list of all the assets (devices, instruments etc. that need to inspected, repaired, replaced if necessary) data available? No. If so, could you please email it to us.

2. If the list of all the assets to be maintained is not available, that means first thing to do is to tag all the assets, evaluate them in order to detrmine present condition and based on that submit the clear proposal. Is it possible to first quote for asset take up and evaluation and then provide the detailed proposal? There are too many instruments in inventory to “TAG

3. Are the following available - Not at this time.

• Complete inventory lists

● surgical instrument sets (onsite)

● surgical devices (offsite)

4. Will the Surgery Center’s instruments be serviced on-location at Louis Stokes VA or at the Surgery Center? If at the Surgery Center, how often (frequency)?

It is preceded that they are serviced at the out patient surgery center and then sent back to the main hospital for reprocessing.

5. Is a CBOC instrument list(s) available? No

6. What is the total number of case carts? Currently we have approximately 45-50 case carts

7. Is the previous years’ replacement instrument descriptions and/or quantities available? No – but stock is mostly hemostats, scissors, etc. common stringer instruments.
