About this file

This document is a Single Source Justification for Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) for a contract opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center.

The contract is for the Indianapolis Coalition for Patient Safety to provide patient safety services and training, including software, educational information, tools, training, and resource material, as well as a one-year certification for the medical center as a teaching medical and healthcare system. The justification cites the contractor's expertise and proprietary rights on the required software and training as the rationale for a sole source award under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for Exclusive Licensing Agreements. The total estimated value of the contract is $50,000.
