36C24E-21-AP-0119 | 663-21-2-2438-0008 | QUERI Program 15212-5319 36C24E21Q0066 N 541720 US Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East 323 North Shore Drive, Suite 500 Pittsburgh PA 15212-5319 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound, Research Services intends to negotiate on a sole source basis Dr. Sean Munson on a sole source basis to provide consultation for Dr. John Fortney’s Program, “Virtual Care QUERI Program: Implementation of Technology Facilitated Evidence Based Practices to Improve Access to High Quality Care for Rural Veterans”. He has previously provided the program with ongoing input and expertise on adapting evidence-based practices (EBPs) to improve usability and make the EBPs implementable prior to roll-out in the VA Healthcare System. Dr. Munson will continue to provide expertise in human centered design in adapting the EBPs, advise on data collection and analysis, mentorship and collaborate on manuscript and report preparation. His services are required to maintain the consistency of project progress and the requirements approved for Virtual Care QUERI protocol. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, these services are essential for the continuation of research being conducted at the Puget Sound VA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, February 26,2021, 11:00 AM, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
