About this file
This special notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration concerns the potential sole source award of a contract for a Korsch XM-12 tablet press system. The Albuquerque VA Medical Center intends to negotiate solely with Korsch America for an XM-12 system with bi-layer conversion kit to support pharmaceutical research. The new equipment will allow manufacturing of bi-layer tablets to reduce the number patients must take. The existing configuration files and tooling are compatible with current equipment, requiring the same configuration for continuity of research. Interested parties who are the original equipment manufacturer, authorized dealer, distributor or reseller must submit a capability statement by May 11, 2020 to the contact provided for consideration, though sole source award remains at the Government's discretion.
