Catheter Ureteral A type of tube that is inserted into the ureter and may be used to drain urine that is blocked in and has no other way of escaping. Ureteral catheter may be used for test, treatments, procedures, medical conditions, and injuries.

Catheter Urethral A urethral catheter is used to go from outside the body into the bladder, through the urethra. Commonly used to drain the bladder for people who have had or are having surgery, and for people who have medical problems that prevent them from emptying their bladders without assistance. All-Purpose Intermittent Catheters are included in this group.

Catheter Ureteral Self-Catherization Self-catheterization Female. Use a catheter (tube) to drain urine from the bladder. You may need a catheter because you have urinary incontinence (leakage), urinary retention (not being able to urinate), surgery that made a catheter necessary, or another health problem.

Self-Catheter System The self-catheterization kit is ideal for active and independent patients. The closed system design reduces mess, eases disposal and reduces contamination risk by allowing a touch-free catheterization. The catheter and introducer are coated with a water-soluble lubricant for ease of insertion, preventing trauma and irritation. A competed sterile kit is assembled to accommodate male and female patients with various and multiple needs.

Catheter Urodynamic Air-Charged An air charged urodynamic catheter involves charging of a balloon that is placed around the catheter line.

It is also in expensive and the air charged catheters are single-use and disposable. Perhaps most importantly, an air charged urodynamic catheter is less sensitive to patient movement, particularly during coughing.

Catheter Urodynamics Urodynamics is a diagnostic procedure to assess bladder function. A catheter is used for cystometric test the catheter’s triple lumen construction allows the bladder to be filled while cystometry is performed. The silicone balloon stabilizes the catheter in the bladder for urodynamic studies conducted while the patient is standing or sitting. Catheter design depends very much on clinical preference. Different materials, diameters, length and catheter lumen configuration are all for the urodynamic procedure and testing.

Tubing Pressure Urodynamics Tubes and catheter are used with the pump to measure pad, it should be pressure needed to do so is measured, tract and only urodynamics can describe the function.

Tubing Urodynamic Pump A well designed urodynamic pump tube set is an important component in the smooth running of urodynamics tests such as filling and voiding cystemetry. Mediplus pump tube sets are designed to work with the appropriate peristatic pump to deliver fluid at a predetermined flow rate.

Vacuum Penile Erectile Dysfunction

A vacuum constriction device (VCD) is an external pump with a band on it that a man with erectile dysfunction can use to get and maintain an erection. The cylinder and pump are used to create a vacuum to help the penis become erect; the band or construction ring is used to help maintain the erection.
