About this file
This is a Justification and Approval (J&A) document for a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) award by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) at Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The acquisition, identified as 36C249-26-AP-0856, was awarded to Immuno Mycologies Inc. (UEI: CN4DMLCJGCK9) located at 2701 Corporate Centre Drive, Norman, Oklahoma 73069, on January 19, 2026, under simplified acquisition procedures using Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.5.
The requirement is for fungal complement fixation testing (CFT) and immunodiffusion (ID) testing services to diagnose four specific fungal diseases: Histoplasmosis, Blastomycosis, Coccidioidomycosis, and Aspergillosis. These laboratory services support Veterans at Lexington VAMC and other VA stations nationwide. The five-year BPA has a total value of $656,708.82 with firm fixed-price ordering periods: $118,845.53 (02-19-2026 to 02-18-2027), $124,789.38 (02-19-2027 to 02-18-2028), $131,029.10 (02-19-2028 to 02-18-2029), $137,582.35 (02-19-2029 to 02-18-2030), and $144,462.46 (02-19-2030 to 02-18-2031). The sole source justification was approved under 41 USC 3304(a)(1) based on the determination that Immuno Mycologies Inc. is the only responsible source capable of supplying the required fungal antigens and positive controls. Market research confirmed no competing sources met the requirement. The contracting officer (Robert Pitre) and one level above approval (Harry Grambo, Branch Chief) certified the justification on January 22 and 23, 2026, respectively.
